Career Change: Software Engineer -> Front Office Finance

Hi everyone,

I recently applied for a Securitized Products Sales role (resume screen rejected) at the BB I work at. I (24m) am currently a software engineer, and I'd like to transition into a front office sales role. I find relationship building fulfilling, excel in high pressure environments, etc. I went to a state school with a ~3.5 GPA. I have pretty good past work experience.

Is this transition doable without an MBA? Any insight would be much appreciated. Thanks for reading!
