Cargill Revenue by Segment

Hi,

I am a prospective trader researching Cargill. Would anyone know their revenue by segment(Animal Nutrition and Protein, Food Ingredients and Applications, Origination and Processing, Industrial and Financial Services)?

They have posted total revenue information online, but I would need the revenue they make for each statement to move ahead with a trade.

Thank You! SeriousTrader

Thanks for your responses! I am looking for the specific numbers themselves (i.e. how much revenue the financial and industrial segment pulled in) Would you know where I could find/deduce that information?

You're going to be hard pressed to find those numbers. Cargill plays things very close to the chest for a company it's size. I will say that less and less of their (and any of the ABCDs) revenue is coming from trading (physical or financial).

Also in general revenue is not really a good measure of for a trading company. If I sell 1,000,000 bushels of Yellow Corn at $4.00 a bushel sure I've generated $4,000,000 worth of revenue but if it cost me $3.99 to buy all that corn you're barely making money. The guy who sold 10,000 bushels at $5.00 that he bought at $3.99 is making more money even though he generated less revenue.
