Is anyone aware of any banks having internal hedging CDS desks?
How blurry is the line between hedging and prop and how is this dealt with by the bank?

The CVA/Treasury desk will use CDS extensively to hedge the exposures of the banks vis-a-vis major counterparties. Flow CDS desks tend to hedge with CDS too as part of their market-making activities but also have prop positions.
What are the exit opps from a role in cva trading?
