Change Between Summers

Recently interned at an investment bank known for its status as an equity house. I received a return offer for next summer and accepted.

However, I have getting into macro lately and started eyeing another investment bank that is both an equity and especially a FICC powerhouse + I feel I’d fit in a bit better. I wanted to hear some advice on whether it is appropriate or not to switch shades of blue this early in my career.
