CME Group Trading Challenge 2014
Anyone else have a team and competing? Interesting first two days. Here is the page with the rules and the rankings from yesterday. http://www.cmegroup.com/education/trading_challenge/
Any advice from those of you not competing?
My team (I did all the trading) came in 4th last year overall. Only advice is to not be a p*ssy. Make 1 or 2 trades a day (so as not to get penalized) and stagger into really big positions for the bigger moves. You'll either blow up or get on string of luck. Its the only way to win, tho.
That's a nice finish. How many teams were invited to Chicago? I think I might play it kinda safe at least until the final round. We are right on the edge of top 10% right now.

We didn't get invited to Chicago, just a cash prize. I think $250 for each person on the team?
Don't play it too safe, f*ckers like to go balls to the wall in the last few days of trading.
