CMG a buy at $336?
It has taken a tumble over the deathcross. IMO it is an over reaction to one incident. If it holds at $336/share, is it a buy? Would like to hear thoughts.

I say yes, Maybe wait and see where the reversal happens but I was thinking along the same lines when the latest news came out about sanitation. Chipotle is still everyones fave after all. It's just a matter of finding the bottom might be 36 might be 40 might be lower, we'll wait and see
glorified taco truck trading at 44x, no thanks.
You want a great restaurant business, buy Mcfatties.
Didn't McFatties miss out on billions selling their position in Chipotle?
I don't know what part of the country you're in, but Chipotle has lines out the door here at lunch time. And no one seems to notice other than Wall Street they had a norovirus contamination at one location.
Those were my thoughts but he does have a point. CMG is attractive relative to its own price, but its PE ratio is ridiculous especially compared to its industry.
I'm long, I mean you can't fail with Ackman on board. Right? Right.
Haha tell that to Valeant Pharma investors. Up 29% since he dumped.
I'm eager to see how Valeant will dig itself out of that debt hole with all those "adjusted" earnings.
I'd say no - bad ROE, low profit margins, huge P/E premium, earnings growth does not catch up to the P/E multiple, premium P/CF
And just lot of risk with the viruses, sickness, etc. It can happen again at anytime.
I'd look into MCD or QSR

Is it a buy yet or do you think its better to wait and see if it drops more / how deep the problem goes.
Should've shorted it a long time ago. $$$
I'm planning to wait. Seems unclear whether or not there could be more issues, so I'm waiting until I get a little more information before buying.
