Commodities investing by retail investors
Why don't retail traders consider commodity derivatives in their portfolio? crypto is so much riskier but still popular. there are so many tools to support commodity trading such as technical indicators on brokerages/third party apps and macro news often indicates commodity movements but I don't generally hear people trading futures personally.
Like are people too lazy to learn/research or they don't know the profit potential or do they not even know of commodities as an asset class? for both retail traders from finance and non-finance backgrounds.
