Commodities/Energy Bonuses
Any word on any entry level bonuses for energy or commodities S&T, or if there were any at all? I would think most of them had a pretty good year.

most places did not do well
You won't see this kind of data really out there. Places that did well, got paid well.
Last year was no picnic, if that is what you are thinking.
2010 and 2011 were tough for most desks... while come places did well in one product... hurt in another
The top players did well but below them, business was slacking. I know there were more cuts in commodities at BBs in London than any other desk.
half of that is probably barclay's metals team; boy did they fuck up this year
LOL that is hilarious. I remembering interviewing with one of them (ex-GS) who told me the commodities floor at BC is packed with ex-GS trader which translates into profits.
That and a US BB that laid off like a 1/5th of its commodities personnel across the floor.
