Commodity Trading at BB - exit options?
What are the exit options from BB commodity trading (therefore no physical).
Booming asset/market, linear/non-linear products market making, although not dealing with physical on the desk , analysis of the fundamentals is done at a reasonably deep level
In terms of feasibility, risk/reward ratio, long term earnings, culture at work (not strictly in this order)
Commodities in a HF?
Commodity houses - financial/physical? Especially the latter, transition possible?
depends on the shop, but in general exits to the physical side are extremely rare. the nuances of trading around assets, scheduling/logistics, etc. are hugely important to physical trading and are not something you would really learn about trading at a bank.
