Companies offering 90%+ return rates: How sustainable is this sudden growth in headcount?

I am seeing quite a few companies with return rates close to 100% - Do they have the capacity to retain these employees post a couple of years? Or is it a given that a majority of this cohort would be fired within a year or two?

The corporate ladder is a pyramid - the ratio across levels is not 1:1 in any company so, no, there is not capacity to retain 100% of analysts as associates but the work does not necessitate needing the same number of bodies at the associate level or subsequent levels after associate. That said there is capacity to retain 100% of analysts for the analyst program, and most churn is self-selection vs. being fired.
