Still trying to understand...
So last May prices were falling fast after an all time high. Lots of trading houses had to sell, Allenberg was buying. Disconnect between cash and futures, cheaper to trade off exchange but Allenberg bought through ICE meaning had to be specific type of cotton, which at the time was difficult/expensive to come by. Is that the gist?
I saw that earlier today, great article and will keep an eye on this as it gets larger
