Crude oil or gasoline?
Hello, I received offers for both crude oil and gasoline trading development role in a physical trading shop. Both options looks great and wonder if anyone had advice & insights on both paths.

Pick the better team. Track record of PMs/trader, process of trade construction, culture (mentorship), assets
IF both teams are equally good i would suggest Crude since it will always be around,
May I ask why you think Crude will always be around? My understanding is that most of it goes into the refinery complex and used to create end use Products a.k.a fossil fuels which we will be on the way out come the abolition of the combustion engine for road vehicles severely hurting demand. Yes, there are Bio-Gasoline and Bio-Diesel etc. so is this where your point stems from? Thanks.
You said it yourself, most of it goes towards things like diesel and gasoline. What about everything else?
It’s less vulnerable to switching than gasoline at least, which is used almost exclusively for road transport and has EVs coming. Crude at least has other uses (jet and tanker fuels have no EV equivalents yet, not to mention plastics or asphalt).
