Did not get into ideal team for Summer

Did not get into ideal desk for Summer internship in London in a MM. find that all the structuring desk prefer innocent Math/Physcis/Aerospace engineering undergrad that dont even know what is repo ( real personal experience).. dont like Msc finance student even with previous experience. a bit sad now but I wonder how to show that I know the stuff and willing to learn despite the product is simple ( so i should learn more about the procedure, market dynamic...? Generally really wish to get a return but don't know how to spark in a more vanilla team. Thanks!

"really wish to get a return but don't know how" maybe don't shit on the people who you will be working with before you even start. Anything bachelor STEM trumps Msc Finance for structuring...

For people who throw shade on me. i got math for undergrad and i dont feel it help at all after a year of work so i decide to do master.

and i even learnt french after a year at a french bank's derivative desk. honestly at my work as trader i never really need to code anything thats relevant to pricing. more like work flow stuff. i feel bad as i have work experience and more effort in building my financial common sense but on the same start line again with those ppl . (like  me 2 yr ago )... whats the point

i am doing it now at HEC. Because my boyfriend relocated from HK back to Paris so i have to move with him but my undergrad is in HK so ppl here dont really know about the universities there. Also I want to change for FX because its a larger market here. I know it doesnt really justify for going back to do a master but i want to give myself sometime to adopt to the culture and life here in general.
