I'm a rising junior and I completed an internship this summer doing mostly equity research (market/industry research, valuation, etc.) but feel that I am more interested in an S&T career/internship for next summer. Naturally what I did this summer would translate better to ER or even IB based on the modeling and valuation work I was doing. Is not having experience in trading seen as a negative?
