It is not the norm. And the reason is simple: having an MBA really doesn’t add any value in a S&T seat.

I think places like IB value it more given how valuable your network will become as you further your career.

Much easier to land directly from undergrad, where you are young, cheap and easily moldeable. MBAs come in as associates and are thus more expensive.

I’m sure it can be done but it is not the norm.
