Edward Jones S&T

Does anybody have any insight on the s&t division at Edward Jones? How do they compare to BB s&t? How do they compare to prop firms? What are their analyst or trader salaries? Do they put a lot of effort into their s&t division? Any knowledge about it would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Never met anyone who works at or really heard much of Edward Jones analyst or S&T positions. I have heard of financial advisor positions, but that is about it.

As for comp if you look at glassdoor (very few reviews) it seems pretty low.

In terms of "prestige" (hate using that term) it is not close to a BB or top prop firm. Sorry but that's about all I have.

These types of companies are a decent place to start if you don't get a regular gig. The big upside is that your competition there really isn't as tough as say, GS or a prop shop, but you have to make sure their lack of focus and polish doesn't rub off on you. Stay for a few months, kick ass, and you'll likely get recruited to a more aggressive company.

Sorry, I don't have details on EJ specifically. They have great commercials though.
