Elite boutique to S&T?

Hello everyone,

It came fast, not even 6 months into my analyst gig, headhunters have begun inundating my (and other fellow first years) inboxes with their BS. While I haven't dedicated a great deal of thought to it, i've pretty much concluded that I have no desire to into p/e. I happen to work at an elite boutique (think Lazard, Centerview, Evercore, etc) primarily in restructuring with a focus on structured credit.

Because I do actually like what I'm working on (and I got a great mid year review) I plan on going into my headhunter meetings with the intent of solely pursuing opportunities at credit funds. However do any of you think I should look for opportunities in S&T? I do really want to be as close to the market as I can, however I think that my opportunity to get into S&T may have passed...

Let me know some thoughts...
