Energy Trading/Commodity Trading vs Fixed Income & Equities
I am a rising senior at a small non target in the Midwest I am studying finance and am on my 3rd internship at a big financial services firm (2 different firms) & 3.8 GPA, and have been meeting with a ton of people but have always been interested in trading. I don’t have a background in coding but have always been interested in markets and being from the Midwest especially commodities since farming is the backbone of the state but as I’ve met with more people I’ve become increasingly interested in fixed income markets and equities. I am not sure what to do and I’m trying to figure out how to land in a junior trading role once I graduate. Any help would be appreciated
