Equity Lending Trading
I took a 4 hour class yesterday on equity securities lending and have become interested in learning more about it. Anyone know about trading in this field? any traders offer any advice on pursuing a carreer in this type of product? Is this product as lucrative as others?
Its called stock loan. Full of lifers. In prime brokerage. Not necessarily lucrative but a steady money machine.
Lending equities to hedge funds who wanna short. Why did you take a 4 hour class on this?
Needed the class for analyst credit. Should it have just been a 15 minute speech with a pamphlet?
Would you say it is easier or harder to break into stock loan than say straight equities? options?
