Equity Traders' Edge? (vs Research and Buy Side)
Incoming EQ Trader at a top 3 BB. Have been reflecting on what the real edge of a trader is, esp. when compared to ER guys and Buy-side who have the expertise and time to dig 10x deeper into the fundamentals and etc than sell side traders.
Personally not a big fan of deep value investing tho. So curious about where to find my "specialization" or edge in the market.
Appreciate any insights.
