Explanation of Banks' Rankings in Product Areas: "We're #3 in Munies"
Had a conversation with am institutional municipal bond salesman from a regional bank today. When a salesman says something like "We're #3 or #4 in munies and #10 or so in agencies," what kind of metric is the ranking he is speaking above measured against?
Likelihood of catastrophic collapse of the institution following the coming state muni default.
