I think Patrick Antonius was a failed day trader before he hit it big in poker
I think Steve Cohen use to play poker but not sure how successful he was.
Matt Hawrilenko won a bracelet at last year's world series of poker. He also works at SIG.
Jason Strasser was an online phenom back when he was an undergrad at Duke. He now trades equity derivatives at Morgan Stanley.

Matt Hawrilenko doesn't work at SIG anymore, he quit since he made more money playing poker than trading at SIG. there have been quite a few SIG traders who quit to pursue a full time poker career
