Final Round Interview
I am an experienced professional (+5 yr) and recently completed a final round interview. Had a few discussions with my peers, debating about company practices for final round interviews:
1) Is the final round interview a formality, where I’m the only candidate and merely obtaining the “rubber stamp of approval” from the Hiring Manager?
2) Are there usually multiple candidates in the final round?
3) Going into the final round, does the company already have an idea of who is the top candidate while the others are merely backup candidates?
