I have an interview for the trainee trader pogramme. Any tips on what to expect. Has anyone been through the process in the past and would like to share their experience.
When reading your title, all that comes to mind is Elaine from Seinfeld.
In all seriousness, there really is a relation between the two, right?
I believe the business was started by her relatives a long time ago.
smuguy - you are right. her great great grandfather I think was one of the main players.
to the OP - when I had my interview for this program, it was the typical fit questions. I think my interviewer was more impressed with my ability to listen and ask questions about the specifics of commodity trading than my actual answers to his questions. I didn't get anything technical. However, I went to a target whose alums tend to be much more sympathetic to our liberal arts education and lack of financial knowledge.

hey all, just got an interview with these guys for the first round. any one got any insight? I was in a power/energy/utilities/infrastructure group in a BB on the ibd side for the summer, but no experience in trading or anything. what could I expect? they said stuff about logic, but what exactly does that entail and what resources are out there?
appreciate any insight, thanks a bunch in advance
my buddy just had a first round said it was some logic some behavioral. He said they only take like 15 percent for second round. But probably differs by school.
you must be from dartmouth
