Flow Traders

Hi,

I would appreciate it if anybody could give some opinion on Flow Traders. I am a student potentially interested in their Amsterdam office. How is it compared to other trading shops, how is the culture, hours, pay, etc.

They are publicly traded so you can see their results which are quite variable. Net trading income (in million Euros) was 384 in 2018, 216 in 2019, and 725 in the first half of 2020. I think the 2020 result is not bad but 2019 was pretty awful for Flow Traders. The overall bonus pool is tied to firm profits and has fluctuated similarly from 93 in 2018 to 38 in 2019 and 206 in the first half of 2020. My general sense is base salaries there are lower than many American firms.
