Freshman Undergrad Looking to Break Into BB S&T

Hello all... I am a freshman undergrad at a small college about an hour north of NYC. In short, I hope to get a job on a trading floor in a BB... I still am not sure between trading or sales, but I would mop the floor as long as it was the trading floor. It is a very general goal, so I lack specifics of where I want to be, what desks or asset class I want to handle and what I want to do, but the earlier I start figuring it out, the better.

I'm looking for some general advice on steps to take in both my academic career and networking to attain an internship and hopefully an offer in the future. Any pointers, comments, and further questions are welcome.
