Future of S&T - A good career choice?
Hi I'm an incoming S&T SA at a BB in London for 2021. I'm trying to figure out what is the best route career wise. Automation of S&T is well on its way and the money is nowhere near what it used to be (or so I keep being told). My question is what is the wise career choice at this early stage in my career? Start as an analyst for a few years then quit? What are the exit opportunities realistically? Is PE or VC a viable option? Is the money still good/will it still be good in 10 years time? Trying to get an outlook on this industry over the next few decades, as to whether it's a good idea to go all in with S&T.
