Global Markets Salaries within a Bank in Madrid (esp. quant roles)

The question is pretty straightforward - and is focused on banking salaries, although contributions on HF or proprietary firms is also welcomed.

I find there is barely any data out there on what salary you can expect in Madrid if you work for a global bank in their GM division. Variables to account for are:

  • Role (trading, sales, quant, research)
  • Title (Analyst, Associate, VP, Director)
  • Experience (junior, 3-5y, 5-10y, more)
  • International/national bank

There was a separate thread in the Investment Banking Forum a few years back (search for "IBD Salaries In Madrid", April 2019) but I am not sure to what degree those numbers are applicable to GM. Moreover that post is already a bit dated so newer data would be welcomed.

PS: I am a VP based in London, working as a quant at an American bank with 8y experience so obviously I am mostly interested in expected salaries for such a profile.

Any information is much appreciated!
