Trying to get a sense of what this group does - Goldman's website leaves much to be desired in understanding what their securities groups each actually do, how they do it, and how they're organized (although I am a newbie so maybe it's easier for people in the know). The idea of following and working with Growth Markets appeals to me, but it sounds like this team might not actually involve trading on a desk. Is it just Sales teams focused on selling multiple products while attached to a particular country? Are the groups only available in the country of focus?
I'd love to work with a product that wouldn't make me plant too deep of roots and might allow me to bounce to a global office or two over time - bonus points if that product involves staying in tune with what's going on the world (have an international mindset).
