The top trading desk. No question. In S&T, the bank name doesn't mean shit, it's all about the individual desks.

well, i wouldn't say the bank name doesn't mean shit, because for some banks the level of client flow matters. (e.g. someone at MS exotic commodities will be able to execute maybe 5 or 6 trades a day whereas an MM or recently-started desk only looks at 2 or 3). however in general Securities Lending doesn't sound particularly interesting, and I think it's part of prime brokerage at GS?

 

agrees 100% with Gekko21. More importantly, if I were in that position I will choose a desk/bank that I think I can succeed as a trader.
