What about a PhD? Some of the people I will be working with in S&T have PhDs. I think I will be the only one with a masters degree, I wouldn't go for a masters if you already have a job. If you go for a financial engineering masters that might be relevant if you want to go from trading to structuring.

For the following advice note that it comes from someone still in school, in other words don't take this advice too seriously: I see an MBA as a valuable tool if you want to switch career or go into management, I haven't met a trader yet with an MBA.


Remember, you will always be a salesman, no matter how fancy your title is.
