Don't expect it to be like NYC or London. It'd be a completely different culture but assume you are Chinese and you should be fine. Depends on which division you are in. For IBD it'd be more about underwriting and less about M&A. Did my last internship in Beijing and night life fun is guaranteed lol

Literally just found out about my interview earlier this morning (and the interview is later tonight). Any advice on it? I've never interviewed for an Asia IB position for. Anything I should expect to be different from US interviews? Obviously prepare for why China...
I've done a little bit of light reading so I have a general idea of some main topics in Asia (ie. yuan appreciation, real estate/housing growth, strong IPO/M&A activity), but any advice on some things I should know would be very helpful. Will I need to know anything specific regarding Chinese companies/stock indexes, etc.? Also, if I listed myself as proficient on my resume, should I be expecting that I'll be getting interviewed in Chinese?
be prepared to talk about yuan appreciation in Chinese
Expect a lot of "why China" "why you" and then know how to talk about your own experiences in depth. "What do you think about the valuation for xyz...." etc. With "proficient in Chinese" you might be safe, just do your homework.
