GS Securities-Investing Rotations

Read all the threads on the securities-investing groups, but many are quite old.

I know SSG has their separate recruiting process, but seems in the past you've been able to rotate through some of the investing areas? Is this possible in the normal securities rotational program in New York?

Can anyone update if there are new groups to the following, or if any of those listed are now obsolete:

Bank Loan Distressed Investing Principal Funding and investing (PFI) Reinsurance Group (GSRG) (completely spun out and sold?) Global Commodities Principal Investing (GCPI) Principal Strategic Investments (in equities)

Any other info on the current status of these groups, how they compare to other areas of amSSG, etc. is also appreciated.
