How to land / increase chances of landing on specific desk rotations during S&T SA rotational program
Been spending quite a bit of time on both the HF and S&T forums and have found a big interest in global macro.
I'm an incoming S&T analyst next summer on a rotational program and was wondering how I could land on / increase my chances of landing on certain desks (ex. rates, rates options, fx vol)? Is networking with individuals on those desks before the summer normal or overkill? How exactly does the process of getting your rotations work?
