How to move out of sales to Sec Prod
Curious if anyone has/knows someone who had experience with this. Long story short, I work in FICC sales at a BB. I'm only 1y in but am pretty sure this isn't something I want to work in later down the road. The issue is I want to hard pivot into a more Sec prod role, which is a very different skill set required vs what I've learned in sales. I know it's only 1y, but I'm still finding a tough way to go about getting into one of those roles, feels like the longer I stay in sales the worse my chances are of getting a good opportunity to switch, so wondering if anyone had similar experiences before.
