I have a 9 month non-compete.. should I just go get a masters?
I don't really like sitting on my hands, and I feel like if I have a 9-month paid non-compete, I should just go back and get a master's. If my firm doesn't want to to enforce the non-compete because I'd be enrolling in a masters program, I'm just going to accept the offer from the competitor so in my eyes I'm getting paid to go get a masters or do nothing for 9 months right?
With my non compete I plan on either working in a restaurant or traveling around. You already got the job with your current resume, to each their own tough
Usually if you go to school it’s not that they don’t enforce for non compete but they don’t pay you or pay you a % of your salary. Consult a lawyer consult the contract etc
