Internal / External Transition
Hi All
I am a graduate analyst at a large BB in the Macro Business Manager / COO group. I am interested in moving into a Rates Sales role.
I have spoken with the Head of Rates Sales and they're looking for a junior but have found a hard balance (wfh) with aggressive networking with the desk / being annoying. It also seems like the hiring process is going to take much longer than initially thought. I work with the juniors and have worked hard on product knowledge and have a good understanding / compelling background to make the switch.
I have started reaching out on LinkedIn to other firms. I am optimistic some days and other days feeling very defeated. Does anyone have any pointers/advice to staying on track and securing a rates sales role?
