International Student | Finance | Semi Target UK. Is getting into Quanty Hedge Fund or Prop Trading possible??

As the title says, is it possible to break in? I am interested on breaking into HFs or Prop Trading shops with a Finance degree from a Semi Target uni in UK? I am a first year and I want to increase my chances to get into either of these kind of shop next year as a summer intern.

What should I self study to be in good position to be an intern? Do networking works when it comes to Hedge Funds and Prop Trading shops? Any insight/advice on this would be amazing.
