Internships frustration

Hello,
I am pretty stressed out. I have applied to a lot of IB and small firms for S&T internships and I have yet to hear anything back and I am pretty frustrated. Not sure what I should do! any advice?
What should I do if I can't find an S&T internship but want to go into it? portfolio management?
