Is it a good time to enter commodities now?
Which has a good future? Power, oil, LNG, anything else? I just got into a fund and wondering what my future would look like in 5-10 years.

Depends on what fund you are at and what their current presence is in that respective commodity
If you're fund has assets in any commodity that is where you want to be
if your fund is all spec trading, they all the same
In a commodity fund, they are all "good" at one time or another. WHAT they trade is more important (day trading, futures, basis, term, hourly, phys, financial, virtuals, etc). Being a commodity shop and trading the screen for TI/Brent, Natty, RBOB, Gold, Wheat, etc is really a futures shop and not a commodity fund
Power trading- physical, virtual, financial, etc.
tough market buf if you can make money, you will be fine.... if not, you will be out quickly

It's never a bad time to enter the trade... Just be prepared to work you A** off!
And remember there is no free lunch.
Think its a great time to enter if you ha e a genuine interest and like that type of work. The stuff I have seen in 2021 is beyond years of education.
i entered in a down market and felt the same way... so much to learn and things change so fast..... not a day goes back that I wished I was in another space
