No, unless you have an exorbitant amount of capital and relationships with brokers for hedging and fees. Most options trading firms are market-makers who provide a constant bid/ask on options and correct and adjust positions based on volatility. None of these firms are teaching you how to Yeet OTM calls on TSLA (gambling) but in fact they’re the ones selling them to you and hedging away their risk to profit on volatility mispricings. Tldr: No, completely different mindset/goals and different strategies.
