Haven't seen any threads on structuring lately and feel that it is not talked about as much as sales or trading. Is it underrated?

It's more niche. Equities and FICC are the bread & butter of trading, but structured products is where the margin is made.

Structuring is the future of the trading floor IMO. Automation is much further away from impacting structuring but is close to impacing sales and trading already.
