Is the Wall Street Oasis Conference a good venue for aspiring traders?

To anybody who went to the event last year or in years past I'm curious about your experience. I want to have a career in trading. I'm open to the type whether it be trading for a BB, elite prop shop, hedge fund, energy company, etc. What opportunities did it provide for people like me?

Interesting...do you know the quality of the prop firms attending? Prop firms can range from firms that require a capital contribution (SMB Capital and the like) to firms that give their new employees a salary (ie: Jane Street/DRW/etc). I'm only interested in firms that pay a salary and train their employees even if that means a couple years of training before they let you trade.
