never seen a job description so open about what life as an SA is really like.
Prime brokerage is revenue generating, so I guess it can be considered FO, but its not what people typically think as FO. However, you are interning in an emerging market so I'm not sure how developed the shorting market is there.

Its prime brokerage. Prime brokerage generates revenue so i am guessing its FO.
This is a flawed logic. PB has dozens of types of jobs of which the minority is FO. Sure if you're in PB Sales or CapIntro or Stock Loan you will be FO. But PB just like any other major division in an IB has all kinds of jobs. Rather than looking at the superficial divisional title I would look at the job description, which to me sounds distinctly BO.
