Jane Street LIFE?
What is being a (junior) trader like? For instance, how many hours do you work, from what time to what time, pay, bonuses, contract info?
Thanks.

my friend there says he gets up at 5:30am, plans his morning/opening bell strategy through noon, does some research, and stays at his screens until about 5pm. does some maintainence work then does whatever after 9pm.
he claims the salary is around 50k for rookies with some guys making $160k all in, depending on p/l. can anyone verify this?
sounds awful.... not at all what i expected in terms of life/salary/all in comp, especially if this is in NYC.
Jane street base is $100K. With bonus, $200K all-in first year is not unheard of. The pay is VERY good, hence one reason why very few people leave.
