Job roles with more client experience

What roles could I transition to that is more client facing? I work for a BB investment bank in product management space (front office) within S&T. I have been in my role for almost 2 years after joining in graduate program, but have found that the role has limited client interaction, and the client interaction that there is is closely guarded by seniors in the team. The obvious change would be to move to a straight up Sales role, but I’m not sure how easy it’d be to move into Sales from my current role. Alternatively I could change company/ industry to a more client facing role, but this comes with risks as there are not many industries/ job roles that would offer similar salary etc. for this level of experience. The other consideration is that I have my Associate promotion coming up next year and so another q would be whether I’m better of switching now or waiting until my promotion to switch. Not sure what fields or options others would recommend? Thanks
