Jonathan Lebed

From time to time we monkeys must come together using the valuable resources here at WSO to figure out who's who and what is what in this jungle called wall street.

I recently came across a self styled penny stock picker/analyst called Jonathan Lebed. His website is : www. lebed.biz

He claims to have been featured on 60 mintues, NYT magazine and even had Michael Lewis write a book on him - thats no small feat i might add-

So tell me fellow monkeys, is this guy a scam or for real? Ever heard of him?

He was featured on 60 minutes because he was the youngest person ever charged with securities fraud at that time. He’s a pump-and-dump artist. He has been doing it for years. He buys a highly illiquid penny stock, hypes it on message boards, watches as dumbasses follow his advice and push the stock price up, and then dumps the stock at a profit on the losers who follow his advice.

Edmundo probably knows this guy and hopes you will be one of his victims.
