Lateral Interview

I haven’t seen much about this on the site... apologies if I missed it.

I am wondering what similarities are present in the interviewing process for an off cycle non entry level sales role at another firm?

Not sure what similarities will carry over from entry level interviews like brain teasers, mental math, ect. Or if it will be strictly production numbers and what client relationships are already in place?
