List of Physical Commodity Houses?
Hi guys,
Need to start looking for 2025 opportunities soon as I’ll be graduating. Aiming to go into the physical trading space but was wondering if there was a list of trading shops that I could use? I know of the large players (Trafi, Vitol, etc.) but I don’t want to sleep on any of the smaller shops and prematurely close doors if you know what I mean. If anybody out there knows of where I can find information on these places it would be greatly appreciated.
P.S probably looking for somewhere in Europe if that helps.
I'd advise you to intensively cruise on LinkedIn, just jumping from company to company in the sector you are interested in. There are plenty of physical shops in Europe that are either not well known or with a large headcount, but networking there can have tremendous results. No one will give you a list for those, you just have to do your homework, which is a quite fun activity actually.
