Location differences for Goldman Sachs S&T?

Hello,

I’ve been looking at Goldman Sachs' various internship locations for FICC & Equities for Summer 2026. From what I see, the opportunities are spread across eight or so cities.

Does anyone know the primary focus of each location (For example, I imagine Houston is all commodities)?

Where are the more quantitative desks based out of (algo trading, quantitative strategies)?

SF is all sales/execution. Houston has commods sales/trading. And NYC is hub for if you actually want to be a trader. NYC will also have the algo/quanty desks
